Antónia Pohanková (1993, Slovakia) is a junior architect. In 2017 Antónia obtained a master’s degree in Architecture and Design from Aalborg University in Denmark, where she followed a sustainability-led programme. She graduated with summa cum laude from her undergraduate studies in Architecture and Building Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, where she also won the Žlutá karta award for her final project.
Aside from her studies, Antónia has worked at multiple architecture practices in various countries, including at HSCZ in Prague in 2014 as well as at the Restoration Directorate of Malta.
Between 2011 and 2017, Antonia participated in numerous competitions, among others ‘District of tomorrow’ in Paris and a pavilion installation in Denmark, which was recently exhibited at the Aalborg Architecture Festival. In 2015 she became a member of the European Architecture Student Assembly (MT).
