Gregorio Pecorelli (1989, Italy) is an architect and researcher at Powerhouse Company. He completed his undergraduate degree in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2011, before going on to study for a master in Design, Architecture and Archaeology at the Accademia Adrianea Architettura Archeologia in Rome in 2013 and a Master of Science in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2014. He recently completed his postgraduate master’s degree at the Berlage Institute in Delft. He is part of the Italian Architect Register since 2015.
Gregorio is interested in working in historical contexts, where he can explore his passion for the history of architecture. Before joining Powerhouse Company, Gregorio worked in Milan as a freelance architect on private residential commissions and interior renovations. In 2015 he won the first prize at the under 30 Premio Federico Maggia, among other competition mentions. He has collaborated frequently with Estia, one of the major Italian companies specialised in restoration of cultural heritage. Gregorio was appointed teaching assistant at the Politecnico di Milano, and he worked as assistant curator for the Padiglione Architettura Expo Belle Arti during the Universal Exposition in Milan in 2015.
