Laura Strähle (1986, Germany) joined Powerhouse Company as a junior architect in 2017 after receiving her cum laude master’s diploma in Architecture from TU Delft in 2016. Prior to that, Laura graduated with a Bachelor Honous in International Management and a Bachelor in Architecture from Technical University of Munich.
Her drive to initiate and engage in design-build projects with international teams took her to India and Africa. Next to her work at Powerhouse Company, Laura is currently the co-lead architect and manager of a social construction project employing 45 people in Kenya.
Laura’s work was exhibited at Venice Biennale 2014 and published on several architecture platforms and magazines. For her master’s graduation project ‘Pavilions for Okana’, Laura was awarded an honourable mention and the Dutch Archiprix 2017.
