Lesia Topolnyk (1989, Ukraine) started her studies in Ukraine, where she completed art school and received her undergraduate degree following the French programme at Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (PSACA). It was there that she won multiple awards, including the second prize in the Ukrainian Designers Contest, and developed her interest in designing furniture, gardens, interiors and villas for private clients.
In 2013 Lesia graduated from a Master of Science in Architecture and Environmental design at Poznań University of Technology with excellent results. During her studies Lesia participated in educational programmes at INSA Strasbourg, TU Dresden and the University of Liechtenstein. In 2017 she received a Master of Science in Architecture from the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture.
Since then, Lesia has been based in the Netherlands, where she has worked for several Dutch offices including Tekton Architekten, atelier PRO architekten and Studioninedots. Lesia joined Powerhouse Company in 2016, where she has been working on projects including Noorderkaap, Merckt and Grote Huis.
