Max Tala Nossin (1992, New Zealand) has been an architecture assistant at Powerhouse Company since 2015. Besides his work at the office, he is also studying at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture for his master's degree in Architecture. Max holds an undergraduate degree in the Built Environment from the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, where he graduated with excellence in 2014.
During these studies, Max developed a passion for Japanese architecture and craftsmanship. This led him to travel to Japan where he worked as an intern at Suppose Design Office on projects varying from highly detailed houses to small scale interiors.
Before starting at Powerhouse Company, Max completed an internship at De Zwarte Hond in Groningen, where he continued to work as a design assistant. During this period, Max also tutored graduation students at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen. At Powerhouse Company, Max usually works on sketching designs, modelling and rendering for competitions, as well as on developing projects technically towards completion.
