The recent sprawling urban development in the Rhone Valley has been eroding the landscape gradually consuming its identity.
The Urban Plateaux is a urban strategy where more urbanity means more landscape. Urbanization is not taken as guilty development but as a positive opportunity to re-deploy and enhance the existing landscape quality. More city means more means to consolidate the landscape and its identity. We believe that strong landscape qualities create strong urban identities that’s why here we start with the landscape as a springboard for the urban development.
